The forge technique used on Series L Damascus steel reveals concentric circles that resemble rosebuds. This is what gave this design its name.
The defining feature of this type of horn is its wavy fibers and marbled appearance. We work this material in exactly the same way as for deer antler i.e. by shaping it while preserving its relief. The result is a touch-friendly and highly colored object that can be admired for its multifaceted appeal.
