Macassar ebony (Diospyros Celebica or Coromandel), a density from 1.10 to 1.20, is a native wood from Indonesia. Popular for its elegant polished, its veining alternates from black to brown, with touches of marbling.
For many years now, Perceval is forging its identity through a judicious balance between cutting-edge design and a century old tradition. This original mind is especially visible in our working methods where buffalo leather polishing benches and needle files rub shoulders with laser beam and wire EDM technology.
The "Le Grand Damascus" model perfectly illustrate this subtle alchemy. Its finely chiseled silhouette and high-quality materials conjure up 18th century elegance and immoderation. It enables Perceval to position itself as a manufacturer of luxury goods on a hitherto unexplored market. This folding knife rouses people's curiosity by shaking up the norms. The handles are exclusively made with the highest quality materials and the Damascus blade is assembled on invisible ball bearings. This model stays true to its heritage while displaying a discreet contemporary aspect.
