
Warthog ivory
The Warthog (Phacochoerus aethiopicus), belongs to the Suidae family. It is the African cousin of the boar and is not an endangered species. Only the largest tusks are used to make a full handle in the Perceval style. Warthog ivory has more of a mottled appearance.
